Stating and action's management

MDM remark every document with a stating condition which remain its characteristic after the editing phase.

We must think at divisional states like rooms with one single door that can be shut or opened. When the door is opened the documents are available for use. In additional to this "Generic availability" only some credited users can access to the room. This does not depend on the "Stating"(The room) but on the authorization assigned to the user's group.

The document's stating can be in any moment modified (means that is possible to move the document from one room to another one). This operation is called Action, an action links two states. (Usually different from each other) We must consider that Actions are not document's proprieties but the possibility that the user has to manage the document itself.

The stating' and action's management allows to create very sophisticated and well structured paths ,in order to avoid cancellations undesired movements of documents and unauthorized editing of scripted documents. It is obviously possible to edit opened documents in simple structure that can be published openly on line.
